Our Goals

  • Learn How to Learn – Students at American Academy must (SAAM) learn to appreciate the value of mistakes and encourage genuine work in the classroom and extending into the community.
  • Discover Your Whole Self – SAAM be able to develop and discover individual skills, pursue genuine interests and passions within the classroom, and learn to discover his/her own artist within.
  • Communicate Effectively – SAAM be able to show interpersonal skills, such as conflict resolution. Imperative for students to listen and respond with respect and seek the value of many perspectives in discussion.
  • Create Model Citizens – SAAM have a positive effect on their community by showing involvement. Showing social and environmental awareness at early stage makes our students great model citizens.
  • Logical Thinking – SAAM be able to understand the cause and effect of our daily actions; also expression of organizational thinking. Critical thinking in Math, Science, Technology, Writing, and problem recognition make for better students.
  • Mutual Respect – SAAM strive to make friends and being a good friend to one another.
  • Environmental Harmony – SAAM have good sense of place and one’s impact on the environment, understanding their role in the environment and ecosystem.
  • Honor Code – SAAM must reflect on one’s behavior and develop sense of self-direction, self-discipline, and self-motivation to excel as students and be the best students.
